We are sorry to report that Alan Chantler of Yelvertoft passed away unexpected on the 28th May 2026. 

He had been a member for over 50 years, all his 24 peals were rung for the Guild, and he represented the Guild on the Central Council, hosting the complaints hotline for some time, as well as being the Guild's representative on Diocesan Synod.

The funeral will be held on Wednesday 1st July 1pm at All Saints Yelvertoft. Open ringing before and after.
