Peterborough Diocese Safeguarding Policy

The Diocesan safeguarding policy as applied to Bellringers has been developed in conjunction with the Diocesan Safeguarding Team and is intended as a guide to assist bellringers understand their responsibilities towards promoting a safer church. As with all safeguarding procedures required within a parish or benefice it is the responsibility of the individual parish or benefice safeguarding officer to ensure that all individuals comply. The Guild do not have either authority or means to ensure compliance.

In the event that bell ringers have difficulty in meeting the requirements of their parish or benefice safeguarding officer, the Guild safeguarding  officer can be consulted.
